Omega Mart is a fascinating and otherworldly art installation and shopping experience located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Created by the art collective Meow Wolf, the exhibit spans 52,000 square feet and features a labyrinthine maze of interactive exhibits, sculptures, and landscapes that are both bizarre and surreal. As you explore the space, you’ll encounter everything from a giant pink elephant to a room full of glowing crystals to giant slides to an extraordinary supermarket stocked with peculiar items. Beyond the artistic spectacle, Omega Mart also offers a unique shopping experience, with a selection of quirky and unusual items for sale. It’s an experience that must be seen to be believed and one that is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who visits.
The experience begins as soon as you enter the Omgea Mart store. At first, everything seems like a normal store, but upon further inspection, you’ll quickly realize things aren’t what they seem. As you look closely at the items on Omega Mart’s shelves, you’ll find bizarre items for sale like Moon Water, Plausible Deniability Laundry Detergent, Mammoth Chunks, a 96-hour energy drink, dehydrated water, and organic moth milk. As you continue to look around you’ll stumble upon hidden portals that transport you to unimaginable rooms.
Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart Las Vegas experience includes a hidden story that visitors can discover as they explore the exhibit. The story revolves around a fictional corporation called Omega Mart, which is presented as a futuristic retail chain. However, as visitors dive deeper into the exhibit, they’ll uncover a sinister conspiracy that involves secret experiments, time travel, and alternate dimensions. The story is told through a series of clues, hidden messages, and interactive elements scattered throughout the exhibit. Visitors can choose to engage with the story as much or as little as they like, with some opting to simply enjoy the artistic spectacle while others attempt to unravel the mystery. Overall, the hidden story adds an extra layer of intrigue and excitement to the already captivating Omega Mart experience.
Don’t be afraid to interact with an Omega Mart Employee. They are very kind, helpful, and add to the experience.

Keep in mind that these hotels may be a bit further from Omega Mart, but still within a reasonable distance.
We opted to stay on the strip and stayed at MGM Grand. We chose this hotel specifically for its massive lazy river. Our kids love a good lazy river. Unfortunately, when we visited in early April the outside air temps were too cold for us to brave the pool. While we weren’t brave enough, we did see a couple of kids happily swimming in the pool/lazy river.
Ultimately, the choice of where you stay will depend on your personal preferences and budget. Regardless of where you choose to stay, be sure to plan ahead and book your accommodations early, as Las Vegas can be a busy tourist destination, especially during peak travel seasons.
*If you are bringing kids, make sure the hotel is good for them. Some Las Vegas hotels cater more to adults. It doesn’t mean your kids can’t stay there, but it may not be the best experience for them.
